LINCOLN CONTINENTAL: AN ICON REIMAGINED BY ALI ADELI
Between 1986 and 1987, during his American adventure, Ali Adeli crossed paths with a renowned agency specializing in the transformation of classic vehicles. Impressed by his craftsmanship, the agency’s manager issued him an audacious challenge: to reinvent the legendary Lincoln Continental in three exclusive versions.
Despite having no prior experience in the automotive field, he accepted without hesitation, believing that any good designer should be able to adapt to any domain. He embarked on this ambitious project, blending creativity, innovation, and elegance while redefining an iconic symbol of American luxury.
His creations took shape:
– A majestic, elongated limousine designed for transporting the most prominent personalities.
– A city coupe, enhanced by the elegance of an open roof for passengers.
– A landaulet, combining refinement and luxury for the most prestigious occasions.
Due to his unique vision and sense of design, Ali Adeli transformed the Lincoln Continental into a true rolling work of art. This project marked an important milestone in his career, confirming his talent for excelling in diverse fields such as architecture, object design, and now, automotive design.
